Sometimes it is nice to actually find something cool, useful and geeky when browsing the Internet. Among the bazillions of porn pages, so-called news concerning Paris Hilton's hair colour and other waste of bandwidth, I stumbled upon some very beautiful pictures of processor dies that an engineer took on his own workbench. Respect, I say.

Fascinated from these impressing fotographs of most probably highly sophisticated set up CPUs, I was reminded hardly of the main difference between electronic engineers and biologists:
the on understand their matter and use this knowledge to construct a world of ingenious tools. The others face a world constructed by someone else and try to get enough knowledge to understand it. Doing so, they mostly get already lost while trying to point out their conceptions. http://cmckb.cellmigration.org/figures/images/geiger_slide.png
